Edith was Salomé’s great-grandmother, she spent her whole life bathing in jewels as her husband and her son were jewellers and gem traders. This rock n’roll ear stud is an ode to her patience, love, attention and her rebellious side that showed up for those close enough to see.

The little chain is 2.5cm long and is attached to the stud’s closing mechanism. Wherever your piercing is on your ear, the chain will always dangle differently. You can rock it on your lobe, your conch or your helix.

It will be completely personalised to your desires; you may choose between yellow, rose or white gold as well as the colour of your beautiful pear shaped sapphire.

 

Materials

L’Edith is set with 1 pear-cut lab-grown sapphire of 0.39 carat. It also has a total of 2g of gold.

It is made with recycled gold that is also certified RJC

All our jewels are designed, hand-crafted and set in Geneva.

Dimensions

Size & fit

L’Edith is about 7mm long and 3.6mm wide with a lovely 2.5cm long gold chain attached to the closing mechanism and the earring.

It is a delicate for piercing just about anywhere on your ear-map, the chain will fall differently depending on your placement!

Depending on your ear, it might not reach piercings that are placed further inside your ear due to the length of the gold chain.

Care Instructions

To make your gorgeous piece shine, we recommend a gentle wash using mild soap, lukewarm water and a soft-bristled tooth brush. 

Follow these steps:

  • Fill a small bowl with lukewarm water and a few drops of mild dish soap.
  • Place your jewelry in the bowl and let it soak for a few minutes.
  • Gently scrub the jewelry with a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove any dirt or residue.
  • Rinse the jewelry thoroughly under running water to ensure all the soap is removed.
  • Pat dry with a clean, soft cloth and let it air dry completely before storing or wearing.

Of our packaging! Every single element you will unwrap has been made either in Switzerland by artisans or by neighbouring countries.
All elements are recyclable and compostable, that’s of course, with the exception of our handmade Nijigami!

  • The Nijigami

    Our custom made jewellery pouch has been made made by hand in Geneva with a delicious vegan grape leather that was made in Italy. It fits 4 earrings, a necklace and snuggly embraces rings as well.
    The Nijigami comes with all orders above 1’500.-

  • Plant me and watch me grow

    You will find in you order an extremely cute white disc that indicates that you should plant it ! Go ahead, don’t be scared! Wet the disc until it is see through and plant it in soil or simply throw it in you garden or the park. Incredible multicoloured flowers will sprout in the coming weeks.
